Manage Brinks Customer Account

Once a customer record has been shelled with Brinks through SecurityTrax, you will be able to Manage the account. This document goes over the Manage Account options.

Manage Account 

To get to the Manage Account page follow these steps.

  1. On the customer record, in the customer tab, navigate to the Central Station section.
  2. Click the Manage Account button.

Account tab

The Account tab is essentially the same as the Create page when shelling an account. Here, you can update this information.

Customer Information

This is the customer's basic information. Note: Some fields are not editable here. To edit these, you will need to close this window and update them on the customer record in SecurityTrax.

Zones

This is a list of customer equipment with zone ID, and description. Event, Location, and Type for each can be entered here. Note: Customer equipment must be entered on the customer record. To learn how, see How to Manage Customer Equipment

Contacts

This is a list Contacts (Emergency Contacts) for this customer. Several settings are available for each contact on this form. Note: Contacts must be entered on the customer record. To learn how, see How to Manage Emergency Contacts.

Important: To create a duress code/contact, make sure the emergency contact name in SecurityTrax is "DISPATCH IMMEDIATELY" and a pin should be provided.

Agencies

Add details for Fire, Medical, and Police agencies here.

Site Options

You can select Site Options and Values for each in this section. Note: A new row will automatically be added as you make a selection.

System Options

You can select System Options and Values for each in this section. Note: A new row will automatically be added as you make a selection.

Actions button

You have a few options here:

Click to Submit

Enter the eContract ID to submit here.

Pull Panel

This is used when the panel is removed from the customer's location. 

Create eContract

Create an eContract or Unlink an eContract with this selection. Note: Only one option will appear, if no eContract exists you will be see the Create eContract option. If an eContract exists, you will be able to Unlink it. For more on how to create an eContract see Brinks eContracts.

Place Account out of Service

Here you have the option to place the account out of service.

Unlink button

Unlinking the account has no affect on the account in Brinks. This account will still exist as-is in Brinks. Unlinking will simply break the link on this account from SecurityTrax to Brinks.

Tests tab

By default this is set to Off. To set the account on Test, you will need to select On in the Test Category dropdown and set the hours and minutes for the account to be on Test.

 

History tab

View All Event Histories or Zone ID event Histories here by selecting from the toggle at the top.

 

Credit Request tab

This is a read-only page to view the details of a Credit Request

 

Purchase Info tab

This is also a read-only page that displays the Purchase information.
