User Login Activity
Introduction
This document explains how to manage users that are locked out of their accounts, and information found on the 'Login Activity' page for a given user. The Login Activity screen shows when and where users are logging in and provides Administrators with the ability to allow locked out users to access their accounts.
Login Lockout
If an incorrect password is entered more than six times on a user's account, that account will be locked for 30 minutes. During this 30 minute period, any attempt to log in will fail (whether or not the password is correct).
During this lockout period, an administrative user can remove the "lockout" on a user's account by navigating to the user's login activity page (Administration -> Users -> [user's name] -> "Login Activity" button) and clicking the "Release Login Lock" button.
If the "Release Login Lock" button is not present, the account is not locked.
Remote Logout
If needed, an administrative user can log out another user remotely.
This is done by navigating to the user's login activity page (Administration -> Users -> [user's name] -> "Login Activity" button) and clicking red and blue arrow icon next to the user icon.
If this red and blue arrow icon is not present, the user is not logged in.
