Technician Toolbox

The Technician Toolbox is a simple feature that allows a technician to access a specific set of features while checked into an appointment.

List of options in the Toolbox

  • Upload a File - A tech can upload a file from a computer or a picture from a phone to the customer record
  • Create a new Task - A tech can create a new task for themselves or others to follow up on for the customer
  • Create and send a Message - Using an existing message campaign, a tech can send out a message to the customer
  • Central Station Option
    • Shell the customer account if it has not already been shelled and linked
    • Manage the customer account if it has been linked to the central station
    • Run a PreCheck (ADT central station only)
  • Interactive Service Provider
    • Shell the customer account if it has not already been shelled and/or linked
    • Manage the customer account if it has been linked to an interactive service provider
    • Lookup and link an existing Alarm.com account (Alarm.com Integration only)
