Duplicate Detection

When creating a new Customer record, if a duplicate is detected you will be navigated to the top of the page to review a list of possible duplicates. 

Please note that duplicates are detected when they have one or more of the following:

  • First and Last Name
  • Phone Number
  • Address
    • Note: the address must be exact. For example, an address that ends in "St." and one that ends in "Street" will not be counted as a duplicate.

 

Review Duplicates

You will have the option to see the list of possible duplicates. Select the Open in New Tab icon to go into each record if you like. 

 

Create Duplicate Record

To create a duplicate record, simply click Save after reviewing the possible duplicates.

 

Cancel Creation of Duplicate

If you would like to cancel the creation of a new record, simply close the window during the Review of duplicates. No new record will be created.
