Shelling an Account

To Shell An Account with Stages

  1. While in the customer record, click System.
  2. Navigate to the Central Station section.

To select the monitoring company

  1. On the Central Station section, click the Edit icon Pencil Edit Icon.png .
  2. Using the Monitored By dropdown menu, make your selection.
  3. Enter values into the editable boxes (Account Number or Abort Code) on the Central Station  section.
  4. Click Save.

To shell the account

  1. On the Central Station section, click Shell Account.
  2. Enter the Account Number and select values from the required dropdown menus in the Create Customer section.
    • Note: Depending on the Monitoring Company, the 2-Way and Enable Chat Functionality Sliders may be visible and, if so, can be enabled during the shelling process or can be enabled later in the Manage Chat section.
  3. Click Save.

To view the account information

  1. Immediately upon saving, the Customer Information section will be displayed.
    1. Note: the information shown is read only and cannot be modified.
