Managing the Account

Manage the COPS customer account through SecurityTrax. Here is what you can do from there.

General tab

Unlink Account

Unlinking the account does not delete the account with COPS Monitoring or in SecurityTrax. Clicking this button will just break the link.

Customer Information

This is the top section f the page and contains the customer's basic information. Note: The name and address are not editable here. If you want to edit those, you will need to exit this screen and edit them on the customer record directly.

Responding Parties

View a list of Responding Parties (Emergency Contacts) here. Note: We don't send the full emergency contact details to COPS Monitoring.

Account Authorities

View the Account Authorities here. You can delete or add Account Authorities. To add an Account Authority:

  1. Click Add.
  2. Select the Authority
  3. Type in a zip code
  4. Turn on the slider for the Authority you want to add.
  5. Click Save.

Zones

These are the zones for the equipment. If zones are entered directly with COPS Monitoring, we do our best to map them to the equipment in SecurityTrax, but there are instances where these will not line up. In those situations you will see those zones listed out separately

Tests Tab

This tab will show you the current status of the account

Account On Test

If the account is On test, you will see details of the current test here. You can set the account Off test by clicking on Place Off Test.

Account Off Test

If the account is Off test, you can set the account On test by clicking on Place On Test.
