Utilizing the COPS Monitoring integration within SecurityTrax you to create and manage customers in your COPS Monitoring account without leaving SecurityTrax. This document will guide you through the set up steps.
First, you will need to create the desired Monitoring Company in SecurityTrax by following the steps here. Return to this page when complete.
To set up the Integration, click on the Integrations tab. Below are descriptions of the fields on this page.
You will see the account status here. This will inform you if the account is successfully connected or not.
Click on this button to add or edit you dealer username and password with COPS Monitoring.
Make sure this slider is set to on in order for this integration to show up on the customer record.
Set this to On if you would like to enable cache.
Do Not Send account "Cell Phone Number" as "Call to Verify Phone 2"
COPS allows providing two ‘Call to Verify’ Phone Numbers on each account in their system. By default, an account’s ‘Cell Phone Number’ in SecurityTrax is configured as the second ‘Call To Verify’ in COPS. If the slider is on, an account’s ‘Cell Phone Numner’ in SeuciryTrax will NOT be configured as the second ‘Call to Verify in COPS.
Account Number Blocks
Account number blocks are assigned by the Central Station. If you have an Account Number Block from them, you can add that here. This will allow you to select the next account number on a customer record.
Click on the Account Number Blocks tab to add account number blocks:
- Click the Add button.
- Set the beginning and end of the block.
- Set the receiver number
- Set the two-way flag if desired.
- Enable the block.
- Click Save.
- Note: Once an account number block is set as Inactive, it cannot be made active again.
