User Terms

Terms

  • User

An individual employee account, typically office staff, managers, techs and sales reps, who may be granted access to your SecurityTrax system.

  • User Profile

The Admin location of a User in SecurityTrax. The User Profile contains all User sections and allows you to fully customize the User experience in SecurityTrax.

  • User Information

The section of the User Profile under the User tab which allows you to adjust the following information on the User:

  • Active (slider)

When "Active" is selected, this User will display in your system.

  • Can Login (slider)

When "Can Login" is selected, this User will be able to login into the system.

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Address
  • Primary Phone
  • Cell Phone
  • Work Phone
  • Cell Phone Carrier
  • Language
  • Time Zone
  • Fax
  • User Settings

The section of the User Profile under the User tab which allows you to adjust the following information on the User:

  • Email Reminders (slider)
  • Restore Sessions (slider)
  • Login Information

The section of the User Profile allows you to adjust the Username of the User.

  • Password Settings

The section of the User Profile under the Login Information tab allows you to adjust the password of the User.

  • Notifications (User Profile)

The section on the User Profile which allows you to enable all types of Notifications linked to a user. These notifications may be sent via email, SMS and within SecurityTrax's notification bell.

Notifications on the User Profile break down into the following three types:

  • Tech
  • Sales
  • User

  • User Policies

Provides the ability to override (or append to) the Policies applied to a user’s assigned Group.  User Policies are specific to the user and do not effect the Groups' Policies on a Resource.

  • Role Settings

The section on the User Profile which contains the Tech Settings.

  • Tech Settings

Located within Role Settings, this section allows you to set the start address and coverage radius for a technician.

  • Inventory (User Profile)

The section on the User Profile where you can set the User as an Inventory Recipient and set their shipping address information.

  • Human Resources

The section on the User Profile where you can set the following information on the User.

  • Hire Date
  • Start Date
  • Recruited By
  • Title
  • Title Designation
  • Transfer Date
  • Legal Name
  • SSN
  • Birth Date
  • Payroll Identifier
  • Last Day with Company
  • Leave Reason
  • Re-Hire Date
  • Notes
  • Payee Assignments

The section on the User Profile which allows you to assign a Payables Level to the User.

  • History

The section on the User Profile which contains a log of transactional activity the User has made in SecurityTrax. 

  • Files

The section on the User Profile where you can attach files to a User.

  • Time Off

The section on the User Profile where you view past time off information and set new time off information.
