How to Manage Monitoring Companies

Getting Started

Monitoring companies (or central stations) can easily be managed and integrated with by using the SecurityTrax CRM. SecurityTrax integrates with numerous monitoring companies. New integrations are being developed continuously and more quickly when using established platforms such as Stages, Bold, or Mastermind.  

To view a list of monitoring company options

  1. Click Admin in the top navigation.
  2. Select Company Settings from the Admin menu.
  3. Scroll down to the Integrations section.
  4. In the Integrations section, click Monitoring Companies.

To create a new monitoring company

  1. In the Monitoring Companies section, click Add.
  2. In the Add Monitoring Company window, fill out the necessary fields.
  3. Click Save.

Note: After creating a new monitoring company, you need to set up the monitoring company integration in order to share data with the monitoring company.

To set up the monitoring company integration

  1. In the Monitoring Companies section, click the Edit icon Pencil Edit Icon.png on the row of the desired monitoring company.
  2. In the Monitoring Company window, click Integration.
  3. Modify the pre-populated fields to suite your specific company requirements. 
  4. Click Save.

To edit a monitoring company's configuration

  1. In the Monitoring Companies section, click the Edit icon Pencil Edit Icon.png on the row of the desired monitoring company.
  2. In the Monitoring Company window, fill out the necessary fields.
  3. Click Save.

To manage account number blocks

Note: Not all monitoring companies take advantage of account number blocks such as use the Stages platform (the Account Number Blocks tab will appear in the left navigation bar only for these companies).

To select the monitoring company

  1. In the Monitoring Companies section, click the Edit icon Pencil Edit Icon.png on the row of the desired monitoring company.
  2. Click on Account Number Blocks from the left menu.

To edit account number blocks

  1. Click the Edit icon Pencil Edit Icon.png on the row of the desired number blocks.
  2. If the selected monitoring company uses Account Number Blocks
  3. In the Edit Existing Account Number Blocks window, modify the required fields, as appropriate.
  4. Click Save.

To add account number blocks

  1. In the Account Number Blocks section, click Add.
  2. Fill in all required fields and the Active slider, if applicable.
  3. Click Save.
